If you are looking to buy a new canoe and wanted to know other peoples oppinion on the make and model; this is the place to ask. If you bought a used composite and you would like information on how to repair it; this is te place to ask. With luck this will be a one stop shop for all of your composite and aluminum canoe questions.

What is allowed?

1. This forum is dedicated to questions pertaining to purchasing new and used composite (kevlar, carbon fiber, et al.) and aluminum canoes. Please post questions about all aspects of the afore mentioned canoes.

2. No "for sale" postings, please. There is already a "For Sale" forum on this site and I ask that if you have a canoe for sale it be posted there.

3. Stories, photo's and logs of a canoe rebuild or test are not only welcome, but encouraged. Since this forum is intended to help those who are looking to buy or rebuild a composite or aluminum canoe, the more knowledge shared the better. Complete step-by-step processes are great and if you have one, please post it.

4. Please keep on topic. Nothing worse then trying to ask a rebuild question and having your thread hijacked by someone talking about birds or fire buildin or whatever. This is a canoe forum, please keep it that way.
