I am selling a long discontinued MSR Bug Hut 1, lightly used & in excellent condition with original tag. $75 takes it.

Not technically a tent, it is a one person bug shelter that is ideal for ultralight travel in buggy areas. Throw a tarp over this and you have a ultra light, ultra compact bug free sleeping area, without the claustrophobic feel of a bivy sack. Can be packed down to nearly nothing.

This comes with the mesh “tent,” two poles and 2 stuff sacks, one for poles the other for the screen house, and 4 MSR Mini Groundhog stakes. One can likely use this without stakes, and of course cutting out the stakes and bags will further reduce the weight. On my scale all the included items weighs 20 ounces.

I am in Duluth for local pickup. I can ship this at the buyer’s expense via USPS or UPS. I am guessing it will fit in a 4” x 20” poster tube. I ship from 55806.

I have posted an Exped Downmat WinterLite sleeping pad, a high quality tarp, and will soon be posting another tarp. If a buyer wants more than one item, I will of course combine ship.
