2016 Wenonah Canak 16’ 0” in excellent condition (with a few cosmetic scratches on it). It just finished its first week-long trip in the BW. Before that it was stored inside by me and the previous owner and looked almost brand new. It was paddled by my 150 lb, 16 year-old daughter, and it carried an additional 100 lbs of gear. I also fished out of it that week and found it to have excellent stability and to be quite fast when paired with a kayak paddle. My 6’4” 220 lb son also fished out of it a bunch and found it stable enough to lean over the side and pick up lake trout with two hands (we forgot a net). Although I wet-foot all my boats, the route we took had mostly boulder field landings so it got a little scratched loading and unloading at the portages. None are significant nor impact the boats usability or performance. It really is an amazing solo canoe, but my daughter prefers the rudder and sit and switch paddling style of our expedition canoes (or just paddling tandem with me), so it’s time to let this hard-to-find canoe go. I believe these can still be custom ordered from We No Nah, at a cost north of $4000. See the retired canoes section at Wenonah.com for more info. The canoe comes with the covers, skirt, and yoke for $2000. I also have a couple carbon fiber kayak paddles or a new ZRE canoe paddle that can be purchased separately for use with the canoe. Canoe is in Duluth, MN.
