I have a Dagger Reflection 16 R-light canoe that my wife says I need to sell. I bought it new and it has always been kept in a heated basement. It has a few scuffs from trips to BWCA and a few river trips. It is in excellent condition and weighs 49 lbs. Not the the fastest canoe on flat water, but will haul a load and is durable and stable.

I have no idea what it is worth and since I live in Georgia I was hoping folks on this board would give me some suggestions as to what I might get for it.

That’s a nice and light by royalex standards canoe, desirable for river or lake travel. Look at the market for royalex canoes in your area. Adjust the price based on condition and lower it a bit if you want to move it quick. Good luck with the sale.

I will have my son-in-law check Facebook marketplace.
I am too stubborn and old for that platform.

If the bottom is still rigid, doesn’t flex when paddling, I would start at 900. You can come down a bit from there. If it is flexy, but good otherwise, maybe 500-700.

Where are you in GA?

Www.paddling.com has classified that work well. Craigslist, too.

The dagger reflection series are really well designed hulls. The solo sojourn, too.

Thanks,
I am in Ellijay. The hull is still quite rigid, never was extremely rigid like my Bell or a Wenonah. My son-in-law put it on Facebook marketplace for $750 OBO see how it goes.
If someone here is interested it is for sale.

I think that is a fair price for a really good canoe. I might sell my Mad River Explorer and buy your boat. I am in Toccoa, GA.

You are welcome to come look at it and for that matter make
me an offer if you think it is worth less.
I think I still have bow and stern inflatable bags which I will let
go with it. Couple aluminum shaft paddles too.

I'd be interested at $600, if this is still available?

I'm in NC (Brevard area) and would hope to meet in the middle. Franklin seems to split the difference (a business halfway between Brevard and Elijay: 27 Duck Cove Ln, Franklin, NC 28734).

Thanks for the consideration.
