I had the pleasure of meeting Barb and helping with the initial inventory. Her husband bought quality gear. The Kevlar/composite canoes were in excellent condition. The only Kevlar/composite canoe that had a scratch that you could see from 5 feet away was the Bob Special. It had several small white scratches in the red gelcoat. The type that disappears when the hull is wet.

I briefly looked at the website this morning. They have pulled out a bunch of camping, fishing, and biking equipment that I had not seen.

Enough stoves to make Butthead jealous. (23 backpacking stoves)
Enough rolls of cordage that we can all hang our tarps like Butthead!

I was really hoping to bid on a few things but don't think I can make that 3 hour window. Is anyone from nearby, or anywhere towards Michigan heading out there?
I would love to make something work!

I work just off of I-80 at Exit 284 (just West of Davenport, IA). I could pick items up and bring them to work if you would be traveling I-80, sometime.

Downstrm is a great guy, he actually treated me and my son to an international wrestling event in Iowa City a few years ago. I also live in Iowa about 1.5 hrs north and am willing to help with pickup (provided I win 1 of my bids). I am not bidding on any canoes but I can pick it up and store it at my place for a while. For anyone living in the cities, my sons now live in St. Louis Park so we may be able to arrange transport.

Anyone located in MN win any cases of propane or butane gas cans? If so, I’d be interested in buying some off of you.

I won bids on 300-400’ spools of 4mm, 3mm, and 2mm cordage. If anyone would be interested in purchasing some of it for a reasonable price, it’s more than I need!
