Slightly OT, but if you are interested in stories about the 'old' inhabitants - mostly commercial fishermen, of Isle Royale, Island Folk: The People of Isle Royale, by Peter Oikarinen. I especially liked reading about Stanley Sivertson, as I met him the first time I went to the island, in late October none-the-less. He was very kind and gracious. Published 1979.
