Has anyone tried making a cuben fiber tarp? I saw a youtube video on it. It looked fairly easy.

It looks very easy, but I decided not to 'go there' because it is cost prohibitive (for me). If I make a tarp, I'll just want to make a tent and pack and so on. It's about $$$.

If you try to make a cuben fiber tarp, I sure would like to hear the details. Please keep us informed.

It seems the 3M solvent and glue is the secret to a good tough bond.

Yeah. I think I saw that same video. You have to work slowly and carefully to make sure you get smooth seams.
