Just returned from some spring hiking in the north Georgia mountains. Great weather with 70 degree days and 50 degree nights. Here's a pic of my favorite hang on Forest Service property at Lake Blue Ridge.
Anybody else getting some spring hanging in?

I'm jealous, the daughter and I will be hanging at home this weekend. Gotta make sure she's comfortable in it before we leave. Wife graduates next weekend, and moving the weekend after, so it's the only chance we will have.
One thorn of experience is worth a whole wilderness of warning

Been doing some Boy Scout camping - here's a hang from last weekend in Nebraska (55° drizzly day, 40° at night)
I did figure out I need a more substantial fly...
However, the JRB Underquilt protector (the Driducks poncho with grograin loops) worked really well to keep the underquilt dry.

Ahhh ... I have many fond memories from a long night at Afton State Park during my last spring in high school. Gotta admit, that night I never thought of actually camping there. :-)
