just returning from our week trip to northern wisconsin, i was reminded again, how i dislike sleeping on pads and in tents. mind you we have great gear, exped. the Gemini 2 has the largest opening for getting in and out and is the most user friendly tent i have ever owned, but-you are still bending, twisting crawling in and out, and the symat, while a good pad, is just not as comfy as my hammock. a trip to my chiro yesterday fixed my tent aching back. with the blackbird on the way for my oct solo, i now have the hennessy for my wife and she is also cool on the idea of using it. there may be a tent and pad sale soon in this home.
Amen brother! Be sure to post pic of the WBBB on your solo.

The river calmly flows,
Through shining banks, through lonely glen,
Where the owl shrieks, though ne'er the cheer of men
Has stirred its mute repose,
Still if you should walk there, you would go there again.
