It will fit your pad with a little extra room for gear. It has a large vestibule under the door & a small vestibule on the other side, accessible by a zipper, from inside the tent. Really nice, honest guy to work with! Hope all goes well with your canoe companion, Mike, I know how important our 4 legged friends are to us!
