Check the outfitters near the bwca, many have used rentals in Kevlar in that price range. Several are bwca.com sponsors.
Hmmmm?

I should be back- Hoping to get there by Tuesday 17th, Wednesday afternoon at the absolute latest. I'll send pictures when I get to Boise. You can get in touch via my email. I believe it has portage yoke installed, but I'll get full details.

I have a Wenonah Spirit II, aluminum trim, kevlar, white gel coat, about 45#, that I'll be selling in mid-May. It will be located in Ely. I'mm guessing between $1500-1800, I'll have to assess the condition. Its my parents' canoe- scarcely used and stored inside. I'll be picking it up in Boise in a week or so and I can post photos then.

Thanks for the reply! I checked in to that, and it seems that many outfitters are not yet selling canoes. I have checked Craigslist within approx 200 mile rage and I am pretty hard pressed to find much of anything. So the search continues!

Trolling the interweb this morning before I go paddling. There's tufweave sundowner 18 FS Madison Craig's list. Not a lite boat, but I liked the down 18. More room in the bow than Jensen hulls.
Good luck. In the mean time go paddling.

Any idea how much that canoe weighs? 50-60lbs is ideal for me.

Just posted a Red Wenonah Prospector 16 in ROYALEX layup (RARE) on Craigslist with pics. Used just twice in local creek. Selling because just bought Wenonah solo canoe in Royalex. garage keep, excellent condition, custom accessories, GREAT boat for tripping & fishing platform; Asking $1349 OBO, Lagrange, KY: contact: ron4735@gmail.com or 502-641-2134 voicemail/text. This is a boat you will never need to replace for the BWCA or river trips. Won't last,

Looking to buy a Wenonah Tandem Canoe for an upcoming BWCA trip. Not looking to spend over $1500. Just curious if anyone has anything they are looking to sell. Closer to $1000-$1200 is perfect for me, however, for the right canoe I may be able to scrape up some more cash. I am located near the Twin Cities in Lakeville. Willing to drive a little ways to complete the sale. Thanks much!! Oh, and pictures are definitely a plus!
