While there are walleye in Slim, it’s not a very productive fishery. In addition it’s a very clear lake. I have caught walleye non the less. I haven’t been there in a number of years, but I do remember catching walleye on the south end of the lake. If you’re going to fish Slim, I’d fish it before sunrise and well past sunset.
