It'll be cold water during the shoulder season. Also, you can expect very changeable weather. I've had snow, sleet, hail and rain--all out of the same storm in the same afternoon as I looped out of Quetico Man chain back ino Carp and the BWCA. The, the sun came out and it warmed up. Nights could also likely be cold. Prepare for everything.

I would do it the other way. Start on Snowbank. Ima or Thomas on day one. Insula the second night and Lake Three the third night.

Some years you might need to be concerned if Ima or Thomas are open in late April.

It's not a bad idea to stay off big water later in the day, but that is more of a general trend than a fixed rule. If it were me, I'd keep an eye on the weather and consider camping on Snowbank instead of Parent if the wind is light that afternoon.

That does look like a good route and 4 days seems like enough to cover the distance. It doesn't look like you have any layover days though. If you are going to get to Parent on the 3rd day then that means you are moving everyday. I usually recommend taking 1 day where you aren't moving camp just so you can enjoy being out there. It also gives you some leeway in case of weather.

Planning a 4 day trip from EP 30 to 28, going through One, Three, Hudson, Insula, Alice, Thomas, Ima, Jordan, Disappointment, Parent, and ending on Snowbank.

I’ve heard Snowbank can be quite windy so planning to camp on disappointment the last night and getting an early start that morning.
